This session will include dance, acting and singing. Inspired by the shows on our stages and led by industry professionals, who will support children to develop a range of performance skills, dance vocal coaching and drama, to make for a comprehensive performance foundation and build confidence. This workshop will take place in our front of house areas at the theatre.
These sessions are suitable for beginners - intermediates, but no experience necessary!
Timings: 10:00 - 16:00. A sharing of work will take place between 15:30 - 16:00.
All participants will be required to complete a details form in advance of taking part. If your young person has access needs, please get in touch with the INSPIRE Team before booking if you have not done so already via email: [email protected] so we can best support you with this experience.

The Palace Theatre of Varieties opened on Whit Monday 1891 and cost its owners the then colossal sum of £40,500. In the late 1970’s the Palace Theatre underwent a major refurbishment and re-opened in 1981 with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar and has since then retained its position as the premier provincial touring venue.
