The visits are always guided by Codorníu staff and their duration is approximately one hour and a half. During the visit, you'll discover the process of making a bottle of Cava and the history of this House.
First, you will admire the modernist architectural ensemble of the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch and you will enjoy a train tour through the underground cellars. At the end of the visit, there will be a tasting of two premium cavas and you will end the visit at the Codorníu Store where you can buy products from the winery at special prices.
How to arrive at Cavas Codorníu
The Codorníu winery is located nearby the Sant Sadurní d’Anoia train station in the famous Penedes wine region, which is a 45 minutes journey from Barcelona’s central Sants train station and costs 4,2€ each way. Sants is the main station in Barcelona, but you can also catch the train from Plaça Catalunya train station. Just look for the RENFE station, not the metro. You'll need to walk around 25 minutes from Sant Sadurní d’Anoia train station to the winery.
By car: from AP-7 or AP-2 motorways, Exit 27 – Sant Sadurní d’Anoia (40km from Barcelona and 68km from Tarragona).
