Through this tour, you will learn all about the world of wine and sparkling wine in one of the most ancient viticulture areas in Europe.
The first stop will be at the winery where the local guide, an expert winemaker, will welcome you. You will start walking through the vineyards, where they will explain to you all about the history of this millenary winery. You will learn how wine is produced, from the vine to the bottle.
While you are walking through the vineyards, you will visit the Romanesque church of San Juan Salem inside the property. After discovering all about how wine is done, you will taste four charming wines, accompanied by some gourmet delicatessen. Then, you will learn all about sparkling wine (cava), visiting another historical winery specialized in cava.
You will have an exclusive opportunity to enter the Capella, the underground caves. Experience the unique atmosphere of magical tranquillity created by the bottles in which the winery's longest-aged cavas lay sleeping. After visiting the cellar, the barrel rooms and the production plant you will taste four Gran Reserva Cava with some tapas.
