Opposite the coast of Playa Blanca is the museum of underwater sculpture, called Museo Atlántico, which can only be accessed by boat divers. Today, the museum is not only known for its sculptures, but also for its diverse underwater world. A new and interesting experience for experienced and inexperienced divers.

The dive takes place along a specific route, which leads to a maximum depth of about 17 m and lasts about 45 minutes. The sculptures are made of pH-neutral concrete, which is particularly suitable for the settlement of marine life. The different groups of sculptures tell their own story and also act as symbols of socio-critical themes. The information session explains the individual stations, the museum, as well as their meaning and the artist's intentions.

It is strictly forbidden to touch the figures to avoid damage and interference with the underwater world. Shortly after the inauguration, the sculptures were covered with algae and worms.

The settlement of several species of fish such as sea bream, mackerel, sardine, barracuda, crossbow fish, angel shark... progressed rapidly.

The Atlantic Museum offers a large amount of marine life and is therefore for the whole family of diving, from beginners to advanced, for photographers and vacation divers a new, unique and varied experience.

We usually meet at 08:30 in the morning and leave the center around 09:00. After two dives we return to Aquatis around 14:00. It is a solution for families who want to spend the afternoon doing other activities. And for those who like to sleep as much as possible can also dive in the afternoon starting at 15:00.

On Lanzarote beach dives are the most common. However, it is possible to organize boat dives, which can include several wrecks. We also offer night dives and early mornings.

We like not to have a closed plan of dives, which allows us to meet the needs of our clients. Although we must always keep in mind that the choice of dive site will also depend on weather conditions.

It doesn't matter what diving qualification you have. All dives are conducted by our highly qualified staff. We divide clients into small groups depending on levels. Our top priority is always safety and enjoy your underwater experience. Our international team of professionals covers different languages such as English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.

Marine life on Lanzarote consists of a wide variety of different species. Depending on the point of immersion, the depth, the season we can find different species. For example the angel shark usually appears during the winter season. And the nudibranqueos seem to prefer cold waters as well.

Diving with sharks, being face to face with a ray, being surrounded by groupers and bamboo sharks - For those who love something special: We offer pure adrenaline!

Join us for a trip to the Lanzarote Aquarium and enjoy different species of sharks that you can rarely find at sea. Before the dive you will be informed about the morphology of the sharks and how these predators behave. All dives are conducted with a dive instructor and a marine biologist from the Aquarium. We guarantee your safety throughout the experience.

Non-divers can also join us in this great adventure. You will have detailed information with a practical session in the pool before diving into the aquarium.
