From mountain peaks to the arid desert we invite you to discover and explore a magical world hidden for a long time by the Nomads. You will cross several valleys lined with traditional mud villages leading to the famous Moroccan desert region.

Travel on the Tizi’n-Tichka mountain pass and enjoy the breath-taking panoramic views as you head towards Agdez. After a stop for lunch you will continue on towards Draa valley and discover the immense Palm Groove and Kasbahs before shortly arriving to Zagora where you will visit the potter’s village and the Tamgrout; the oldest Library-Coranic school in the region.

Your next stop will be in M’hamid, the famous Oasis in the greater Sahara, to meet with the Cameleers’ team before embarking on a fantastic camel ride, known as the camel caravan, to bivouac Erg Lihoudi, located at the foot of dunes.

After you have settled in your tents, you can admire the sunset and discover the nomad lifestyle: a Berber team will invite you to join in to make bread cooked in the sand, before dining under the stars where you will enjoy a warm and musical evening with traditional songs and dance around the campfire.

The second day begins early with the magical Sunrise on top of the dunes, a great opportunity to take some phenomenal photos. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the camp before getting back on the camel and riding back to M’hamid.

By car you will journey back towards the Zagora region and Draa Valley. If you wish to stop to take some pictures, you can arrange this with your driver. After a brief stop for lunch in Agdez, the pleasure continues on crossing the high Atlas chain with Kasbah and Berber villages before finally arriving back to Marrakech.

We have to admit that you certainly have a long road to cover during these two days, but with the added pleasure of experiencing the desert and Nomad lifestyle first-hand is truly worth it! A unforgettable trip with memories to last a lifetime!
