Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve
It is a unique natural space in the Canary Islands, due to its beauty and the variety of ecosystems it houses. Protected as a special nature reserve, its 400 hectares include an excellent beach, a field of living dunes of organic sand, a forest of palm trees and a brackish lagoon. This mixture of desert and oasis is located on the coast of the extreme south of Gran Canaria. This stop will be made at the beginning or end of the experience.
Amadores Beach
The location of Playa de Amadores is between huge rocks, being protected from the wind. The artificial construction with white sand in combination with crystal clear water creates a unique blue color. This quiet beach in the southwest of Gran Canaria has a bay with calm waters and no waves, its soft white and golden sand invites both adults and children to relax, being a very pleasant place to enjoy the sun and the sea. .
Little Venice - Puerto de Mogán
The port of Mogán, an old fishing district with its marina, its shops surrounded by alleys with endless colored flowers and canals, adds to the charm of Little Venice in Gran Canaria, which is why it is one of the most visited places on the island. It will be visited with or without a market.
Maspalomas Lighthouse
It is located in the south of the island, more exactly at the end of Maspalomas Beach, its construction was considered of the highest order. It constitutes the civil building of greatest historical and monumental importance from Telde to the south of the island. It has gone from guiding and helping the ships that sailed the Atlantic, to becoming the most emblematic symbol of Gran Canaria. This lighthouse, which has 130 years of history, has been converted into a museum that will guide residents and tourists on their way through the island.
We are going to visit one of the most incredible natural Landscapes in Gran Canaria, “Maspalomas Dunes”, after that we will go to Mogán’s port, and ancient sailor’s district formed by a combination of small, white gorgeous and beautiful houses, decorated with flowers and placed next to the sea shore.
Their marina, shops and streetmarket improve this “Little Venice” charm. We will visit Amadores beach, a bay with cristal and calm water, a white sand beach next to the sea.
