GRANDMAS HAVE NAMES TOO! is an innovative choreography that explores the loneliness and understimation that comes in today's society. It is a contemporary piece, which lasts approximately one hour and it demonstrates the importance of recognizing individuals with names histories and experiences. With two choreographers in the lead and four dancers on stage, the dance piece combines fluid and expressive movements that simulate the beauty and vulnerability of the senior generation. Through this work, the public is encouraged to reflect on the way in which they deal themselves with their grandparents, emphasizing the need to connect them with their name and their humanity. It is a call for empathy and intergenerational cooperation, a tribute to all those who seem to be forgotten.
