Orgullo en la pista de baile

Participa en la mayor competición de baile inclusivo del mundo, con títulos de competición otorgados por la International Federation of Same-Sex Dance Associations (federación internacional de asociaciones de baile inclusivo). En los Gay Games puedes bailar con quien quieras y en el rol que prefieras (líder o seguidor), independientemente del género.

Los estilos de baile incluyen estándar internacional y bailes de salón latinoamericanos, estilo americano (rhythm y smooth), tango argentino y line dance (lee aquí y encontrarás más información).

Público

¡Mientras bailamos, nos encanta tener público! El público es una parte vital de las competiciones de baile y crean una atmósfera que hay que vivir para creer.

Todas las personas participantes en los Gay Games pueden asistir como público a la competición de baile presentando su acreditación. El resto del público podrá adquirir las entradas más abajo.

Gala Gay Games XII Dancesport

Anímate a participar en una celebración alegre e inclusiva del baile deportivo. La primera parte de la gala contará con demostraciones de algunas de las parejas y equipos ganadores de los cuatro días de competición anteriores, ¡incluso algunas parejas campeonas del mundo! En la segunda parte, te invitamos a unirte en la pista de baile, donde DJ Charles pinchará desde bailes de salón y latinos clásicos hasta ritmos alternativos de club, desde tango argentino hasta salsa y two-step tejano. También habrá una selección de bailes en línea y secuencias.

Te animamos a vestir elegantemente para la ocasión y a expresar tu personalidad con lentejuelas, plumas, trajes impecables y cuero.

Pride in the ballroom!

Join us for the biggest equality dance competition in world with championship titles awarded by the International Federation of Same-Sex Dance Associations (IFSSDA). At the Gay Games you can dance with whoever you like, and in whichever role you like (leader or follower), regardless of gender.

Dance styles include international standard and Latin American ballroom, American style rhythm and smooth, Argentine Tango and line dancing (see here for more details).

Spectators

Dancers love an audience! Spectators are a vital part of dance competitions and create an atmosphere that must be experienced to be believed.

All Gay Games participants are welcome to come and watch the dance competition, on presentation of their accreditation. For everyone else, spectator tickets are available below.

The Gay Games XII Dancesport Gala Ball

Come and join us for a joyous and inclusive celebration of ballroom dancing!

The first half of the gala ball will feature demonstrations from some of the winning couples and teams from the previous four days of competitions including some world champions!

In the second half, you are invited to join us on the dance floor where DJ Charles will be playing music from standard ballroom and Latin dances to alternative club rhythms ranging from Argentine Tango to Salsa and Texan Two-Step. There will also be a selection of line dances and sequence dances.

We encourage you to dress glamorously for the occasion and express yourself with sequins, feathers, sharp suits and leather.

*Registered Gay Games participants can watch the DanceSport competition for free registration (days 1 to 4) but must purchase a ticket for the ball. Discounts are available, but you will need to show your accreditation at the door.
