Entrada Nadya Makoeva en Barcelona

Nadya Makoeva is a singer-songwriter who has been based and creating music in Catalonia for the past 11 years. Her sound blends neo-soul, funk and jazz-pop, with plenty of groove, sophisticated harmonies and a healthy dose of irony.

Her songs explore anxiety, contradictions, social pressure and the search for meaning while the world seems to be going crazy in real time. Intelligent, sensual and direct, her music doesn’t pretend to have all the answers — it’s made for thinking, feeling and dancing while we try to figure out what the hell is going on.

The show at Soda Acústic will bring together songs from Nadya’s first EP, "Cyclothymia", singles released over the past few years, several brand-new songs and a few carefully chosen covers. The night will also feature the live presentation of her upcoming single “Don’t Explain”, due for release just a few weeks later.
