Day 1 · Origin - Galicia
Departure from the established points making short stops on route (lunch on client´s own). Arrival at the hotel in the late afternoon, distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 · Costa da Morte
Breakfast at hotel and in the morning excursion to Muxía. Before arriving we will visit the Vimianzo Castle (14th Century). In Muxía, a fishing village, we will visit the old town, the Sanctuary of “Nosa Señora da Barca” and the “Piedras Mágicas” (magical stones). Lunch in restaurant included. In the afternoon visit of Finisterre, considered by the Romans the end of the world. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 · Optional excursion to the Comarca de Ortegal
Stay in HB at hotel with the possibility of optional full day excursion with lunch in a restaurant included in the Ortegal region.
Breakfast and departure to Cedeira, which is considered one of the main touristic destinations in the north of Galicia. Panoramic tour of the “Condomiñas” neighborhood, of modernist design and the fishing port, where the “Castillo de la Concepción” stands out. Crossing the “Sierra de A Capelada", we will arrive at San Andrés de Teixido, where the tradition says that every person must go at least once in his life and if he does not, he will become an animal in the afterlife. Picturesque locality between the mountain and the sea, where we will know the Sanctuary from 14th Century, and its miraculous Fountain. Then we will go to Cariño to visit a canning, to end the trip we will go to Cape Ortegal, which will dazzle us with its breathtaking views. Back to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 · A Coruña
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to A Coruña with official half-day guide (lunch on client´s own). City of a huge charm located on a peninsula with two bays: in one is the port and in the other the beaches of Orzán and Riazor. In this city also highlights the “Plaza de María Pita”, the City Hall, the Tower of Hercules (the oldest operating lighthouse in the world and declared a World Heritage Site in 2009.), Méndez Núñez gardens, Glazed Galeries, etc. Free time in the center to know its old and commercial area, located around the popular “Plaza de María Pita”. Coruña has a wide range of museums (Archaeological and Historical Museum of San Antón Castle, Museum of Clocks, etc.). Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 · Optional excursion to Ferrol - Mugardos - Betanzos
Stay in HB at hotel with possibility of optional full day excursion. Breakfast at the hotel, departure to Ferrol. In this city we will visit the Naval Museum, located in the “Arsenal”, spectacular naval base from 18th Century. Then we will go to the Magdalena's Modernist Quarter, with numerous examples of buildings designed by the architect Rodolfo Ucha. We will continue towards the Captaincy Gardens, with spectacular views of the military enclosure and the shipyards. From here we move to the nearby fishing village of Mugardos. Lunch in restaurant included. After lunch, visit the old town of Mugardos, then transfer to Betanzos. City declared a historical and artistic complex, we will visit its impressive historical center, where the Romanesque temples of “Santa Maria del Azogue” and “San Francisco” and the Gothic of Santiago stand out, with the Clock Tower. We will finish the visit at the “Plaza de los Hermanos García-Naveira”. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 6 · Lugo - Pazo de Mariñán
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for excursion to Lugo with official guide, there are many attractions that the city offers us, but it stands out above the rest of the Roman wall that surrounds it, which is the only one in the world that remains intact. For that reason and for its mysterious beauty, it is a World Heritage Site. Free time and lunch on client´s own. In the afternoon transfer to Abegondo to visit the “Pazo de Mariñán”, spectacular construction from 17th Century, that contains beautiful gardens. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 · Galicia - Point of origin
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at 5 in the morning (unless otherwise indicated by the assistant at destination) to the point of origin. Short stops on route (lunch on client´s own). Arrival and end of our services.
