You'll be guided over the next three hours to several unspoilt beaches – you'll stop for lunch at one of them, too. These coves are known for their clear waters, perfect if you fancy jumping in for a cooldown dip. As you walk between sweeping sand dunes, keep a lookout for wildlife. The northern part of the island is a haven for birdwatchers, with the likes of Audouin gulls, cormorants and even peregrine falcons nesting nearby.
