Your ticket will also be valid for the Reina Sofia Museum, a huge space that houses modern and contemporary art from all over the world. Here you’ll find works by 20th century masters including Picasso, Dalí and Miró as well as a free library specialising in art books, videos and recordings.
And last but not least, you can enter the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection - one of the most important private collections of paintings from the 20th century. Prado Museum: Monday – Saturday 10am to 8pm; Sundays and holidays 10am to 7pm. Closed: 1st January, 1st May and 25th December.
Reina Sofia: April - September 10am to 10pm; October 10am to 7pm; November - March 10am to 6pm; closed Tuesdays; Sundays and holidays – please check the opening times.
Thyssen-Bornemisza (ticket office): Tuesday - Sunday 10am to 6:30pm.
