Day 1 · Origin - Basque Country
Departure from the established points making short stops on route (lunch on client´s own). Arrival at the hotel in the late afternoon, distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 · San Sebastián - Guetaria
Breakfast at hotel and departure for excursion included full day (lunch in restaurant included) to San Sebastian. Visit of the city accompanied by local guide (half day); we highlight the Concha Bay, the City Hall, the Miramar Palace, the old quarter with the “Plaza de la Constitución”, etc
Go on our trip towards the west coast of Gipuzkoa. We will arrive at Guetaria typical fishing port of great charm. Guetaria, birthplace of sailor Juan Sebastián Elcano (first to circumnavigate the Earth), and Cristóbal Balenciaga, icon of design and fashion. Free time in Guetaria. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 · Optional excursion to Pamplona - Vitoria
Stay in HB at hotel with the possibility of an optional full day excursion to Pamplona and Vitoria, with lunch in a restaurant included. In Pamplona you can visit it with a local guide: Town Hall, Church of San Saturnino, the “running” route during Saint Fermin Feast, “Plaza del Castillo”, etc. In the afternoon departure to Vitoria, political and administrative capital of Euskadi. Accompanied by a local guide, we will visit the New Cathedral, “Plaza de la Virgen Blanca”, “Plaza Nueva”, “La Almendra Vitoriana” (historical - monumental neighborhood), ... Return to hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 · Bilbao
Breakfast at hotel and excursion included to Bilbao, and visit to the city with a local guide (half a day), whose most emblematic corners are: the “Gran Vía”, the “Basilica de Begoña”, the Guggenheim Museum (exterior visit), the Ría .. To finish in “Casco Viejo” (oOd quarter), where the “ Siete calles” (Seven Streets) are located. Lunch on client´s own and free time in Bilbao. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 · Biarritz - Saint Jean de Luz - Hondarribia
Breakfast at hotel and departure for excursion included to Biarritz and San Juan de Luz, famous French summer villas. Lunch in restaurant included. In the afternoon excursion included to Hondarribia, with one of the best preserved medieval quarter of Guipúzcoa. During the tour we can appreciate the beauty of the Basque-French coast. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 · Optional excursion to Guernika, Bermeo – Mirador de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe
Stay in HB at hotel with the possibility of an optional full day excursion with lunch in a restaurant included. We begin the visit in Gernika. His tree is the most universal symbol of the Basques, around it and “ Casa de Juntas” , his historical core is woven. Bermeo, a town rooted in the marine tradition, since its economy is based mainly on fishing. It also has different tourist attractions, “the Puerta de San Juan”, the old town or its cozy port, among others. In the afternoon, stop at the “Mirador de San Juan de Gaztelugatxe” (photo stop); a rock in the shape of a peninsula in the middle of the Bay of Biscay culminated by a small hermitage dedicated to San Juan. Later on we will make a stop in Las Arenas (Getxo), where we can see the “Puente Colgante” (Hanging Bridge). Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 7 · Basque Country - Point of origin
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at 7 in the morning (unless otherwise indicated by the assistant at destination) to the point of origin. Short stops on route (lunch on client´s own). Arrival and end of our services.
