Did you know that Catalonia is one of the most important wine-growing areas in Spain? Vineyards have existed there for more than 2000 years and currently produce more than 380 million bottles a year, including sparkling wine, which represents the half of the production.

After checking in for the tour, you will get to one of the most unique and attractive wineries in Europe, Can Ràfols dels Caus, which was built in a cave so to be completely invisible from the outside. There you will enjoy a taste of three different wines paired with local cheese and cured meat.

At the end of this first visit, you will move to reach another one of the most prestigious wineries in Catalonia: Llopart, a centenary winery where you will discover the sparkling wine, denomination of origin Corpinnat. After having learned more about its past and present and about the local production, you will again be given the opportunity of a tasting which will include some of their best sparkling wines, always paired with some food.
