Join this tour from Bilbao to discover the ancient Basque rural culture and how the inhabitants of this area lived and worked in the past, while learning all about their beliefs, traditions and daily habits.
Your experience will start with a visit of a farmhouse from the 16th century, which was also used as a cider house. There you will be involved in an interactive activity during which you will be asked to stomp apples with some special tools while producing sounds similar to the “Txalaparta” (a local traditional instrument), singing and having fun. Of course, in the end, you will be able to taste some of the apple juice that you will have made by yourself.
The tour will then continue towards San Sebastian, where we will enjoy the panoramic views from Mount Igueldo, before walking through the old town and city center, where you will be given some time for your free lunch. In the afternoon, you will pass through Zarautz and the Gipuzkoan coast to eventually stop in Getaria for a last nice walk before returning back to Bilbao.
At 9.20 am outside Melia Hotel, next to the stop for cars and buses. Please do not enter the hotel. The tour will leave at the indicated time, please be there 10 minutes before.
