The ultimate goal is to preserve the biodiversity, protecting the heritage represented endemically to the island, and to offer visitors the unique experience of close contact with some of the most extraordinary species on the planet.

The park is built on an area of 800.000 m2, making it the largest in the Canary Islands. It continues to grow every year in order to provide greater space to accommodate more than 3.000 animals of 250 different species and more than 350.000 visitors who pass through the park every year.
