Dedicated to art of the late 19th and 20th centuries and also known as the Queen Sofía Museum, it's a magical world full of objects to admire. Feel excited as you enter the building located in the so-called Golden Triangle of Art not far from the world-famous Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza.

What to remember- Please make sure to download and present the pdf ticket attached to the voucher after booking
- Important: on Sundays, the museum is open from 10:00am to 2:30pm. The sale of tickets at the ticket office will finish at 2:00pm, apart from advanced bookings. Entrance to the museum will be free starting at 12:30pm
- Admission is free on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, Sundays from 12:30pm to 2:30 pm, and October 12
- The audio guide is available in English, French, Italian, and Spanish
- Cloakroom service is available at both entrances
- The Sabatini building has ramp access
- The Nouvel building has automatic lockers for wheelchair users
- Use the cloakroom at the entrance to the Nouvel building for large possessions (please note: the Nouvel has no ramp access)
- Photos without flash, tripod, monopod or any other stabilizing element are allowed, except where otherwise indicated
- No photos or image recording equipment is allowed in area 206 (Picasso’s Guernica)
- Baby carriages/pushchairs/strollers can be borrowed at the locker service counters or you may bring your own
