Enjoy a wine tasting in Ribera del Duero and get lost in the beautiful city of Segovia!
After checking in for the tour in Madrid, you will leave the city and head towards Ribera del Duero, which is located in the province of Valladolid. You will first stop at the Castle of Peñafiel, now housing the Provincial Wine Museum, and you will make a tour of it accompanied by your guide. You will secondly stop at one of the most important wineries in Valladolid, where you will be able to enjoy a tasting of the locally produced wine paired with some cheese and cured meat.
After having visited Ribera del Duero, you will move to Segovia, in the homonymous province, to discover the city's old town, one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. You will thus enjoy a guided walking tour of Segovia, during which you will be able to admire the imposing 16-km-long aqueduct, the greatest example of Roman civil engineering in the Iberian Peninsula. Among the many other monuments, you will also see the famous Alcázar of Segovia, a castle which has served as inspiration for Walt Disney’s movies such as Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
