Don't worry! The meeting point where the activity begins is right next to the free public car park at the Natural Park Interpretation Centre (La Mata-Torrevieja), and there are usually spaces available.
It is a scientific research and outreach project aimed at promoting nature conservation. Through various activities and workshops, it showcases local biodiversity and heritage in an engaging way—after all, the more we know something, the more we value and care for it! What do you think?
If you wish, you can follow the project and all its activities on the official website and on social media—Instagram and Facebook. @chorlitejo.patinegro y @actividades.cyp
As a point of interest, the *Chorlitejos y Patinegros* (CYP) Project received the First Prize in the Torrevieja City Entrepreneurship Competition in 2023, awarded by the city council.
You can also add a mug or a tote bag featuring the Kentish Plover—the star bird of the project—to your booking. Proceeds from these sales go toward funding the project's volunteer and research activities! You can view the different designs in the images and pick your favorite. If you’d like one, simply select your preferred design at the end of the checkout process, and we’ll hand it to you on the day of the activity. This is completely optional; if you don’t want to add any extras, just select "NO" in the relevant section of the form—that’s it! Thanks either way!
