Day 1 · Origin - Asturias
Departure from the established points making short stops en route (lunch on behalf of the clients). Arrival at the hotel in the late afternoon, distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 · Ribadesella - Gijón
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Ribadesella, a typical Asturian town on the banks of the Sella River, where the Piraguas Festival is held each year, declared of International Tourist Interest, and also known for the excellent quality of its salmon. Next we will go through Villaviciosa known as the capital of the block. Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon departure for excursion included to Gijón with official guide, capital of the Costa Verde, the most important city of the maritime and tourist Asturias, where its Roman Baths, the Palacio de Revillagigedo, etc. stand out. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 · Optional Aviles excursion - Oviedo
Breakfast at the hotel and optional half-day excursion to Avilés accompanied by official guide. Avilés, industrial village of the Asturian Community, is a city full of cultural life, very committed to literature, music, theater, cinema and painting, highlighting its House of Culture and the Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center, as well as like the Palacio Valdés Theater, which hosts works of national interest. Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon excursion included to Oviedo accompanied by official guide. Capital of the Principality, where the San Francisco Park, Campoamor Theater stands out ... among others. Free time to visit its Historic Quarter on foot (Cathedral, University ...). At the agreed time, return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 · Ribadeo - Playa de las Catedrales - Cudillero
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion included full day with lunch in the restaurant. Departure to visit Ribadeo, stately-looking villa, with the lighthouse of Pancha Island, at the entrance of the estuary and the ruins of the castle of San Damián. Later we will visit the Las Catedrales Beach. In the afternoon visit of Cudillero, typical fishing village where the rural architecture designs the houses to fight against the winds. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 · Optional excursion Covadonga - Cangas de Onís - Cuenca del Nalón
Stay in the MP regime with the possibility of optional excursion to the Picos de Europa National Park. We will begin our visit in the Cave that keeps the remains of King Pelayo and the image of Santina. We will continue our tour to see the Basilica and the Royal Site. Optionally you can go to the Lakes National Park (on behalf of customers and subject to weather conditions), to enjoy the landscape. We will make a panoramic view of Cangas de Onís, first Capital of the Asturian Kingdom after the battle of Covadonga in the year 722, where Don Pelayo defeated the Muslims and began the Reconquest. Lunch in restaurant included. In the afternoon we will visit the Cuenca del Nalón, where the Asturian mining basin is located. We will visit towns such as La Felguera or Sama de Langreo to El Entrego, where we will visit the Mining Museum (tickets included). The Museum is located in an old mining exploitation and offers the visitor the possibility of discovering the technique and origins of one of the main industries of the Asturian community. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 6 · Llanes - Cabo de Peñas - Luanco
Breakfast at the hotel and half-day excursion to Llanes and half a day to Cabo de Peñas and Luanco. Llanes is considered one of the tourist capitals of Asturias. Its economy is based on agriculture, livestock and fishing, generating the latter a small industry of canning and salting. Return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon excursion included to Cabo Peñas, which is the northernmost point of the Principality of Asturias and located in the council of Gozón. Continuation to Luanco, located between the towns of Candás and Avilés, mainly fishing village, although in recent decades it has developed thanks to tourism ... Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 · Asturias - Point of origin
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at 5 in the morning (unless otherwise indicated by the assistant at destination) to the point of origin. Short stops on route (lunch on behalf of the clients). Arrival and end of our services.
